Product Description

Terion is a flexible Thin Client that allows for implementation as a Thin Client for VMWare, Citrix, Microsoft Hyper-V, RedHat or Remote Desktop(RDP). Terion can also be implemented as a stand-alone connection to the internet for applications that need a browser only; i.e., library facilities. This means no virtualization hardware/software is required thus reducing deployment costs. The stand-alone version will also run a word processor and spreadsheet that are compatible with Microsoft Word and Excel. The Terion consumes only 4 Watts of power as compared to 150 watts for a typical PC which translates into significant power savings especially for large deployments. Terion is very small and fits on the back of LCD monitors and supports Kensington anti-theft Security Lock.

Essentially this device replaces a desk top computer in office.
Operating system such as Windows,linux,MacOS etc. and all the application software such as Microsoft office, e mail, office production or back support software resides centrally at Servers in the control of the IT dept. This way all the upgrades and security related issues are carried out only at one location on servers in the IT dept. control.

This devices is highly secured because there is nothing to corrupt in it. Perfectly useful for Libraries, Laboratories where something unwarranted cannot be down loaded and infected, reducing everyday headache for the IT dept. to re-image the computers.
